You can
Save any open webpage by going to File->Save
As and choose file type HTML Complete. This will save the
page and the associated files to your computer. I use a folder on my
desktop called Webpages
-
You can add the page to Favorites (Internet
Explorer) and check the option Make available offline. It will
save the page so you can open it from your favorites menu.
-
To print a page without printing background images go to
Tools->Internet Options and click the Advanced Tab. Under Printing
uncheck the box next to
Print
background colors and images. (See image).
-
To print a portion of a page, select the portion by
dragging your cursor over it. You can also select by holding down the
SHIFT key and using the ARROW keys. Then select PRINT and check
the option SELECTION ONLY. (Not all printers have this option).
-
You may need to set printer to Landscape to
fit all of the page.
-
For printing page as an image see next
topic . . .

- Like the Fit2Win only fitting to the sheet, Printing only prints
what's in the white area, which is helpful to me in working around
the bug where all the Layouts print under the active one:
I layout as many sheets as practical around the white area (see
attached jpg) and when printing I Select All and move everything so
that the sheet I want to print is in the white area. I print with
everything still selected and then just move everything for the next
sheet. This method also helps when duplicating things from sheet to
sheet.
I actually stole this idea from my acad friends who layout the
entire drawing and move the sheet them plate to what they want to
print. However, instead of using View Frames for different parts of
the drawing they would duplicate and scale things, ending up with
one very large View Frame (or whatever acad calls it). If they make
a change to any part of the drawing they would still have to go
around manually correcting the rest of the drawing that shows the
same thing.
